Summer Schedule
Unless otherwise stated – Youth will meet on Wednesday’s from 6:30 – 8 pm.
Wednesday, June 13th – Scavenger Hunt. We will start at 6 pm and be done by 9 pm.
June 25th – 29th – Bates Creek (youth week). Cost is $65. Registration forms and money are due by May 27th.
Wednesday, July 11th – BYOB (Bring Your Own Band Night). Meet at the youth department at 5:30. We will head over to Walthers Park. Besides music, we will have hot dogs and kool aid and play volleyball. Bring $1 and a lawn chair or blanket. Sign up your band with Gene. Bands must be Christian or instrumental and can include rap, ska, solo stuff, full band, whatever. We should be back to church at 8:45 pm.
July 23rd – July 30th – Mission trip to Denver, CO. The cost is $150/student. This cost includes roundtrip transportation, meals during the week, t-shirt, and some of the necessary materials. In addition to this cost, students are responsible for meals on the way to Denver and home as well as spending money. The registration form and balance is due by June 30th. The number of students attending this trip will be limited according to the occupancy of the charter bus and any other vehicles that may go with us. Occupancy will be based on a first come/first serve basis.

Wednesday, August 8th – Facing the Giants Night. Cost is $1. We will watch the movie “Facing the Giants” and eat a giant banana split. Time: 6 pm – 8:30 in the New Fellowship Hall.
Wednesday, August 15th – Buses will start up again
August 17th – 18th – Parent and Youth Retreat at Bates Creek. A weekend focused on strengthening the teen and parent relationship. The weekend will include training from the Center for Biblical Counseling and Education as well as some fun things to do together. More details to come.
